A planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.
The Lord has a plan for us that He made before time began. He gifted us with the abilities needed to serve Him. Our part in the plan is to be available when and where He has chosen to plant us. This day, He has planted us in a place of service to the hurting, the lost and those seeking answers. We are to be a living testimony of Who He is and what He is about. We are to stand in the gap for those He has called. We are to stand in front of the multitudes or work quietly behind the scenes, doing the work to expand the kingdom of the Most High God. We are to offer ourselves up in an attitude of thanksgiving for His Name's sake. When the people come to us in need, He will give us the words to say or He will encourage us to silently listen in an attitude of prayer. We can lead the lost into repentance. We can guide those who hunger to where they can be fed. Father, help us to be a planting in Your garden of grace. Guide us as we offer up a harvest of mercy to those seeking after You. Your splendor is beyond what we can imagine. Allow us a glimpse today, of the glorious beauty of leading others to Your eternal salvation. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, amen.
