Isaiah 40:31 But those who hope in the Lord will renew their
strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Psalms 33:18 But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love.
It is so easy to lose hope in the Lord when it seems all around us the world is becoming less and less interested in the Lord and we, as His anointed, are criticized and accused. We are to hold onto our hope with both hands and hold our hope up to others as a guarantee not as a wishful dream.
Our hope is not in the things we have but in the One Who created all things. Our hope is in eternal rewards that are promised by the One who created time. Our hope is in the One Who loved us so much He put aside, for a short time, His deity in order to pay the price for our sinfulness.
Father, we praise and worship you for renewing our strength
and our hope in You. Remind us that the hope we have in You is without conditions and that You will never leave us or forsake us. Remind us to share with others the reason for the hope we have. In the faithful and trustworthy name of Jesus.................Amen
